TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Promotion is offered to residents of Victoria. Employees and their immediate families, agents, committee members and operations managers of the Promoter are ineligible.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry/claims process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
4. Multiple entries accepted but each entry must be associated with a separate donation.
5. Promotion commences 23/12/08 Entries close EST 12:00am on 13/05/09. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail/entries.
6. How to Enter: To be eligible for prizes, consumers must donate a minimum of $100 to Cricket Victoria (CV) during the 2008/09 Cricket Season via CV staff, Cricket Clubs or Partnercall appointed Telemarketing Company. One ticket will be awarded for each separate $100 donation.
7. Once the CV has processed the $100 donation the entrant will be sent a receipt which also contains an “Instant scratch and win prize” component. To see whether they have won an instant-win prize, entrants must scratch the instant-win panel on the front of their scratch card / receipt. If they have won a prize it will be detailed beneath the scratch panel together with a number to call to redeem their prize. The number is 1300 721 123 (local call costs apply).
8. Instant Prizes to be Won: Prizes to be won instantly across the promotional period in the Cricket Victoria $100 Donation” Promotion are as follows: 1 X $1,000 cash, 2 X $500 cash, 3 X $200 cash and 74 X Kookaburra Cricket balls valued at $60.00 each.
9. If the entrant has won one of the 80 instant cash and prizes they must send in their ticket to an address notified at the time of their call to 1300 721 123 to redeem their cash prize. A Reply Paid address will be provided.
10. All valid entrants are allocated their unique lucky reference number via this receipt. CV will hold a detailed record of each reference number and its owner. This is then entered into a random barrel draw. This entry qualifies for both the Grand Prize Draw. There will be a total of 2,500 instant win tickets.
11. Grand Prize: The first selected entry from all eligible entries received will be awarded a trip for four people to the Lords Ashes Test. The draw will take place at Loyalty Marketing, Suite 11, 210 Toorak Road, South Yarra, VIC 3141 on the EST 4.00pm on 15/05/09. The winner will be notified by mail and phone, and published in The Herald Sun on 19/05/09. The winner will receive 4 economy return airfare tickets from their nearest Capital city to London, 7 nights’ accommodation twin share at The Cumberland Hotel including breakfast valued at $3,900 per person. .. The total value of this prize is valued at up to $15,600. It is a condition of accepting the prize that all components of the prize be taken from 15/07/09 to 21/07/09 inclusive and all persons taking the trip depart from and return to the winner’s nearest capital city at the same time unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter and that all persons taking the trip may be requested to sign a waiver of liability and an indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Unless expressly stated within these Conditions of Entry regarding all prizes, all other expenses connected to the taking of the prize including transfer costs, other meals, insurance become the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner (and/or companions) to take part in any or all aspects of the prize if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner (and/or companions) are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate. Travel and accommodation must be redeemed via Cricket Victoria. Any additional costs associated with redeeming the prize, including but not limited to meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, and spending money, are the responsibility of the winner and any companions (as incurred). Redemption of the prize is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check in. During the entire duration of travel, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.

13. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website or on any required promotional material shall be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
14. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the a game is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) use of a prize; or (g) or attendance at a prize event.
15. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
16. Entrants must retain their scratch card for verification purposes to be eligible to claim any prize. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct security verification checks at their absolute discretion. Instant win game materials are rendered void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way or if the Void if Removed panel is tampered with in any way or if they fail the Promoter’s validation test. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Conditions of Entry all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.
17. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 17/08/09 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, including awarding the Grand prize of an equivalent value. Winners’ names of prizes over $250 will be published in The Herald Sun on 21/08/09.
18. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
19. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further remuneration or reference for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

2. Entry is open to all cricket clubs in Victoria. Employees and their immediate families, agents, committee members and operations managers of the Promoter are ineligible.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry/claims process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
4. Multiple entries accepted but each entry must be associated with a separate fundraising ticket sale.
5. Promotion commences 23/01/09 Entries close EST 12:00am on 13/05/09. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail/entries.
6. How to Enter: To be eligible to enter, Victorian cricket clubs (VCC) must sell fundraising tickets for Cricket Victoria’s (CV) “$100 donation” Promotion (Vic Permit No. 08/5889). One entry will be awarded for each separate ticket sold.
7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. All draws will take place at Loyalty Marketing, Suite 11, 210 Toorak Road, South Yarra VIC 3141 on the EST 4.00pm on 15/05/09. Winners will be notified by mail and phone and winners over $250 will be published in the Herald Sun on the 19/05/09.
9. Major Prize: The club that sells the most fundraising tickets will be awarded talent for a Club Sportsman’s Night. Talent provided by Cricket Victoria: Bill Lawry, Dean Jones, Damien Fleming and Brad Hodge (subject to availability and substitutes will be made at CV’s discretion) and the provision of Coodabeen Champion Ian Cover as Master of Ceremonies all valued at $25,000. All event costs and promotion of the Club Sportsman’s night is the Clubs responsibility and the winning club may be requested to sign a waiver of liability and an indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Unless expressly stated within these Conditions of Entry regarding all prizes, all other expenses connected to the taking of the prize including transfer costs, other meals, insurance become the responsibility of the winning club. In the case of more than one club with the same tally of fundraising tickets, a draw will take place (as per item 8).
10. Minor Prizes Draw: Valid entries (one ticket or more) will be drawn for each of the following prizes.
- 1 x Bushrangers Coach prize which includes Greg Shipperd and star batsman David Hussey to run a training session for your entire club during the 2009/10 cricket season. Greg and David to remain after training to speak to players and club supporters valued at $3,000.
- 2 x Two Bushrangers stars to visit the club’s junior presentation night during the 2009/10 cricket season valued at $2,000 (each).
- 4 x Kookaburra club cricket kits valued at $1,500 (each).
- 1 x signed Australian team cricket bat valued at $750
- 10 x Double pass to the 2009/10 3 Mobile Boxing Day Test valued at $100 (each).
- 10 x signed Bushrangers team cricket bat valued at $500 (each).
